If you are exploring Taipei’s busy Ximending area and want a relaxed place to recharge, 85°C Bakery Cafe Taipei Ximen Shop is an easy spot to enjoy a casual cafe experience. Located right in the heart of the shopping district, this branch attracts both locals and travelers who want a quick coffee break without stepping too far away from the lively streets of Wanhua District. The atmosphere feels modern yet comfortable, making it a convenient place to slow down for a while after walking through the crowded neighborhood. I like how the cafe balances speed and comfort at the same time. Even during busy hours, the environment still feels welcoming rather than rushed.
One thing that stands out about 85°C Bakery Cafe Taipei Ximen Shop is its simple but reliable menu. The cafe is especially popular for coffee and quick bites, so it works well whether you need a light snack in the afternoon or a small meal before continuing your trip around Taipei. The coffee aroma hits you immediately when you walk inside, creating that warm cafe feeling many visitors look for in Ximending. At the same time, the service setup is practical for different kinds of customers. Some people stop by for takeout before catching public transportation, while others choose dine-in seating to rest and enjoy a peaceful moment indoors. Delivery and onsite services are also available, which adds extra convenience for people staying nearby.
Another reason many visitors return is the location itself. Being on Hanzhong Street means you are surrounded by shopping areas, entertainment spots, and the energetic vibe that makes Ximending famous. After spending hours exploring the district, sitting down with a coffee at 85°C Bakery Cafe Taipei Ximen Shop feels refreshing and uncomplicated, especially if you prefer casual cafes with easy ordering and a laid-back atmosphere.

Cakes and drinks are pretty good, not too sweet. Sitting area is a little tight and no washroom available. Each person has to spend at least $60ntd in order to sit which is fair but service was a little slow. Overall, we enjoyed it.
Small bakery Cafe with some seatings. The mille crepe cake is light, fresh, and has some citrus glazing. Yummy
For experiencing of Salt coffee, I just visited. This shop is quite small and before entering it, you should order. Salt coffee with 100% sweetness, which you choose is a little sweet for me. It is a little strange a barley tea with sugar also. Luckily, I visited, though.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
Nearest first, then across the Rio Grande Valley.
